Swap Shop for Business

Creatives Club will no longer just be a sharing platform for creatives but also a vibrant hub of commissioning projects in communities that have little access to the creative arts, working with people aged one to one hundred and one!

We’ve had a fantastic week of fascinating talks and inspiration on how to do this. We went to a jam packed day of talks from Liverpool Business and IP Centre and got some cracking advice and apparently if you connect with your local centre you're 4 times more likely to succeed. They offer FREE workshops and support which is great if you’re setting up a business on a shoestring.

Check out business talks and where your local centre is.

Swap Shop

Old enough to remember Noel Edmunds Swap Shop? Check out this business network inspired by that retro show…

In March 2020 the UK went into lockdown. In Derby, a community of business owners and charity professionals were talking about how they could support each other to survive. Tracy Harrison, the CEO from Safe and Sound Group, said "we need a way to swap with each other” and Swap Shop was born. It’s become UK wide and just chosen by Theo Paphitis as one of the 6 #SBSwinners

We’re looking forward to skills sharing with Swap Shop once were set up. Watch this space!
